- Advanced R&D on biopolymers (PHA, PLA, PBAT, PBS)

Financial Controller
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategically-minded Chartered Accountant with a background in Big 4 firms. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our manufacturing operations, ensuring rigorous compliance, and providing data-driven insights to help a venture-backed startup scale efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain the General Ledger with high accuracy.
- Ensure proper categorization of capital expenditure (CapEx) for manufacturing machinery versus operating expenses (OpEx).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage inter-company adjustments.
2. Statutory Taxation & Filings

The Sales Executive will work closely with converters, manufacturers, brands, and distributors to transition from conventional plastics (PE, PP, PVC) to UKHI’s compostable and bio-based alternatives.
