Eco365 is a Bengaluru-based manufacturer of compostable bioplastic films and bags, operating since 2010. The company runs a dedicated 25,000 sq. ft. compostable plastics production facility with an annual capacity of 1,800 metric tonnes. Eco365 states it is India’s first and only GreenPro-certified (Eco Label Type 1) compostable manufacturing facility with complete in-house production capability. All products are certified by CIPET and approved by CPCB as per IS/ISO 17088, equivalent to EN 13432 (EU) and ASTM D6400 (US) international composting standards. The company also holds EPR registration. Eco365’s compostable products are made from plant-based materials including corn starch, potato starch, tapioca starch, cellulose, soy protein, and lactic acid. Products decompose within 60 to 180 days in composting conditions, producing no toxic residue.
