It was founded in 2004 by three polymer engineers with hands-on experience in plastics processing, additive masterbatches, and technical services.
The company manufactures compostable carry bags, mulch films, garbage bags, and stretch films under the Unicomp brand, alongside conventional agricultural films and industrial packaging.
Its manufacturing facility is in Igatpuri, Nashik, with a marketing office in Andheri West, Mumbai. Unik Polypack also distributes specialty polymers and additives on behalf of global chemical companies including BASF, Kuraray, DuPont, and Kumyang Chemicals.
