UMFVPL is a sister concern of Global Polybags Industries (P) Ltd, one of India’s leading flexible-packaging exporters, which gives buyers access to a large and established manufacturing group.

The facility uses top-tier German machinery, including the VAREX II 7-layer extruder and MIRAFLEX AM printing machines, supporting high-quality, high-volume production.

The group operates its own Container Freight Station (CFS), Prompt Terminal (P) Ltd, at Tuticorin Port, which speeds up clearance for international cargo and benefits export buyers.

In terms of scale, the unit produces around 5 tons per day of multilayer polythene rolls and sheets, 5 tons per day of printed compostable carry bags, and 2 tons per day of export polythene bags, within a total group capacity of about 48,000 MT per annum.

The business is led by Managing Director Thomas Muralitharan and Director Muralitharan Sadhana. The main manufacturing plant is located at Chinnamupanpatti village, Virudhunagar Taluk, along with additional group premises.
