Sustainable resin for thin film, bag and packaging production
Combine old line performance with green credentials. Ukhi’s ready to use biopolymer resin is optimized for blown-film extrusion. You can feed it into a standard blown-film line and produce compostable and biodegradable films for bags, wraps, liners, and more. Our resin uses renewable or compostable polymers that behave like traditional plastic during production but break down naturally after use.
Blown Film Extrusion Biopolymers
Bio-based plastic polymer resins for multiple uses
You can use Ukhi’s blown film extrusion biopolymer resins to produce multiple items: carry bags, grocery and shopping bags, garbage and liner bags, pouches, shoe covers, shower caps, gloves, cling/stretch films, shrink wrap, mulch films, nursery bags, and more. It works for everyday packaging and industrial uses. All products will be compostable and will perform as reliably as traditional plastic.
Our Product Range
Milky White Film Resin (EGBF – OP)
Use this resin for a strong, opaque film in carry or garbage bags when you don’t want contents to show.
Semi-Transparent Film Resin (EGBF – TP)
Choose this for pouches, shower caps or gloves. It gives partially visible film with durability for light packaging.
Transparent Film Resin (EGBF – TR1)
This resin creates clear, compostable films for use in food packaging, retail bags and garment bags.
Stretch / Cling Film Resin (EGBF – SW)
Our cling film or stretch wrap resin remains stretchy and sticky enough for wrapping pallets, products or bundling items.
Shrink Film Resin (EGBF – SH)
Use this for shrink wrap packaging, retail multipacks, or display bundles that seals tightly and holds shape.
VCI Film Resin (EGBF – VCI)
This film protects metal parts from corrosion during storage or shipping. It shields against moisture and rust.
High Shelf-Life Film Resin (EGBF – ML)
This resin suits food and agriculture-grade films that need to keep contents fresh longer. It works for mulch films and food packaging.
High Barrier Film Resin (EGBF – BR)
Use this where you need moisture, oxygen, or an aroma barrier like bread bags, milk pouches, or other perishable food packaging.

Made for India,
in India
Our blown film extrusion biopolymer resin is manufactured at UKHI facilities in India as part of a local first production approach. All products made from this resin use renewable agricultural residues as feedstock. This adds value to our farm waste and supports rural economies through job creation and resource use.

FAQs
Our biopolymer resin works in most blown-film lines made for polyethylene (LDPE/LLDPE). The process stays the same, the resin melts, extrudes through a circular die, inflates into a bubble, then collapses and rolls into film.
Blown film extrusion biopolymer product manufacturers can get film thickness between about 10 and 150 µm. The exact thickness depends on blow-up ratio (BUR), air pressure, cooling rate, and line settings. The strength and flexibility are also on par with conventional film.
Yes, our blown film extrusion biopolymer resin meets compostability guidelines in India. Products made from it will degrade under industrial composting conditions within 3 months.
Not significantly. Upfront capex for blown film extrusion biopolymer product manufacturers remains the same since the resin processes on standard blown-film lines. Material cost may be higher than traditional polyethylene. But you can gain value from compostable branding, lower regulatory risk, and long-term compliance benefits. Get in touch to request a quote.
Blown film extrusion stretches and orients the polymer both horizontally and vertically. This gives good mechanical strength even with biopolymers. Biodegradable blends with plasticizers/compatibilizers to improve toughness and flexibility.
