It was established in the early 2000s in the IDA Edayar industrial belt of Ernakulam district, Kerala. The company produces 100% corn starch compostable carry bags, compostable grocery pouches, garbage bags, produce bags, and fish and meat packing pouches. It also has a paper packaging range covering handle bags, grease-proof pouches, and food wraps. Kings Packings is also the first company in Kerala to be registered with the Oxo-biodegradable Plastic Association (UK) and is certified by Symphony Environmental UK for manufacturing oxo-biodegradable HDPE and LDPE packaging. The company supplies wholesale buyers across India with a minimum order quantity starting from 100 kg.
