Yes. EcoGran™ blown film extrusion biopolymer makes the highest quality compostable shrink film that achieves similar gloss, tensile strength, and shrink ratios to conventional plastic films. Our biodegradable shrink wrap packaging also handles automated tunnels up to 30 m per minute.
Our films are food-safe and approved for direct contact with dry, moist, and acidic foods. But final compliance may vary based on inks, adhesives, and total pack structure.
In most cases, yes. Seal initiation occurs at 120 °C; set tunnel temps 5-10 °C lower than for 19 µm POF. We provide run sheet guidelines.
